# Notifications

> Stay informed with in-app notifications for messages and alerts.

## Overview

The notification **bell** in the header keeps you informed as things happen. It
has two tabs — **Messages** and **Alerts** — each with its own unread count.

## What lands in each tab

* **Messages** — incoming conversations, [campaign](/getting-started/glossary#campaign)
  replies, and conversations assigned to you.
* **Alerts** — everything else: campaign status changes, CSV import results,
  [segment](/getting-started/glossary#segment) updates, poll events, team changes,
  [channel](/getting-started/glossary#channel) or
  [provider](/getting-started/glossary#provider) issues,
  [knowledge base](/getting-started/glossary#knowledge-base) updates (when
  uploaded documents finish processing), AI handover requests (an
  [AI Employee](/getting-started/glossary#ai-employee) asking a person to take
  over), meeting bookings, calendar or ad connection issues, and
  [workflow](/getting-started/glossary#workflow) alerts.

You only see notifications for areas your [role](/getting-started/users-roles)
allows.

## Manage notifications

* Click a notification to jump to the related item.
* **Mark as read** individually, or **Mark all as read** for the active tab.
* **View all** opens the full history.

Notifications appear the moment they happen, without reloading the page.
Important ones also show a small pop-up in the corner of the screen.

## FAQ

    Notifications follow your role — you only receive ones for areas your role
    can access.

  <Accordion title="Do I get emails or texts too?">
    The bell is for notifications inside the app. Autocampaign AI separately
    sends automatic emails and texts for things like invitations and password
    resets.

  <Accordion title="Is there a low-balance alert?">
    Billing alerts aren't part of the notification bell today — check
    [Wallet & billing](/billing/wallet-billing) for plan and usage status.
